“Some people were even bringing infants to Him so He might touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. Jesus, however, invited them: “Let the little children come to Me, and don’t stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Luke 18:15-16 HCSB

Children’s sense of wonder during this time of year fills my heart with gladness. Their bountiful joy and excitement is contagious!

What if adults never lost our sense of wonder? What if we approached this time of year the way children do? What if we approached the birth of our Savior with the same anticipation?

It just might change the world.

Let’s change the world!

Lost your sense of wonder and have no idea where to begin to get it back? We need to go back to that very first Christmas found in the gospels. We will never truly be able to wrap our brains around the magic of that night, but we can at least try to capture a piece of it.

When a childlike joy fills our hearts, it will become contagious. So many people are dead inside…struggling to get by. Christmas is far from magical for them. We can choose to ignore them and focus on ourselves or we can shine a light into their dark world.

One way I am going to spread the magic of Christ’s birth is by donating all proceeds from an ebook to Compassion International. It will be available for a small fee on Amazon. Stay tuned for more details! I have been praying about what to do with it and I believe this is what I need to do.

What will you do to bring a childlike wonder to others this year?
